Freddie Australian Shepherd Young Male in Staunton, Virginia

My story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $250 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions.

Meet fantastically fun Freddie! He is 7 months old and looks like an Australian Shepherd / Husky mix, weighing 48 pounds. He's gorgeous from head to his cute little bobbed tail which was amputated due to an injury. A fun guy with lots of energy, Freddie adores chasing his ball or any toy you want to throw. Freddie finds great enjoyment from playing with chew toys inside, especially his Kong that holds peanut butter. He is leash, crate and house trained and delights in going

for car rides! Freddie is good with other dogs, is learning to leave cats alone, and could accidentally topple small children. He is a very intelligent dog and would thrive with obedience training. He has learned Sit and Down easily and would love to learn more with treat rewards. Freddie is a very loving guy and delights in cuddling with his foster mom. True to his breed, Freddie loves to playfully chase, jump and herd. Freddie needs a home with herding dog experience to ensure he has the proper mental and physical stimulation. An active owner who enjoys walking or hiking would be a good match for Freddie who is strong on leash, but is always ready for a fun run. If you feel like Freddie is "THE ONE" contact us today!

Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. September 14, 2022, 9:47 pm
