Theres no need to travel to a galaxy far, far away if youre looking for a wonderful family dog! Orion is right here and ready to launch himself into your heart and home. This bright star of a dog is a 50 pound, 3 year old Boxer/Lab mix whose foster mom describes him as one of the coolest dogs shes ever met. (See his video: /watch?v=n-3cxX2wDIc.) When Orion was found, he had a significant jaw injury, but he has since made a full recovery and his only request is softened food and a softer couch. He shares his foster home with other dogs, a cat, and kids. Orion loves them all! He is protective of his two-legged family members and loves to go on adventures in the car. He enjoys running around the yard, so he would do well in a home with a secure fence. He is an excellent listener and is already house trained. Please, will you wish upon this star? Orion is ready to bring his sparkling personality home. Please apply to meet Orion today!

Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.
